ZANU-PF politburo member, Sikhanyiso Ndlovu, has died.
He was 78
Ndlovu died in the intensive care unit (ICU) at Mater Dei Hospital in Bulawayo where he had been in admission two weeks after suffering a stroke.
He had suffered a severe asthma attack prior to the stroke. His brother Simangaliso confirmed the death.
He was a committee member in the Politburo, ZANU-PF’s most influential organ outside congress.
A renowned educationist and founder of the Zimbabwe Distance Education Colleges, Ndlovu once served as Information minister and deputy Education minister.
